Proposed Yearly Outrigger Canoe Paddling Season for Guam
Guam's outrigger paddling season is broken up into OC1s and OC6s. This schedule provides the concept of organizing the outrigger paddling sport on Guam into seasons. This will allow for teams and clubs to participate in different aspects of outrigger paddling (i.e. OC1 and OC6) and help organize training and racing efforts.
Presented below is an example schedule that incorporates both Junior and Adult/Open outrigger paddling and recruitment for each. The schedule also supports Guam National Championship events and shows how the seasons can support selection process for Team Guam (i.e. Qualifiers). Please note the color coded Junior Schedule and Adult/Open schedule.
