Annual Races:

• Guam National Championship: OC-1/Kayak Sprints & Distance (April 2004)
• Guam National Championship: OC-6 Sprints (July 2004)

GKCF will be sanctioning these Guam National Championship events each year. This will establish national record times for each of the events. Records will be kept of all winning times as well as all names of participating athletes.

As potential athletes trying out for Team Guam, your participation in these Championships will be a strong determining factor in team selection. The more championships you participate in, the better your chances are of being selected.

Requirements for participation in Championships:

• open to all paddlers
• pay the proper race fee
• pay membership fee for USACK for insurace purposes
